Archiware P5.2 beta release
Archiware are inviting testing of their 5.2 beta release.
The new release includes 64-bit support, FreeBSD platform support, editing of archive index structure, saved searches in indexes, SMTP authentication, and improved archive job reporting. To PLC or not to PLC
In February of this year, JPY changed its status from a public limited company to a private limited company.
JPY’s company details at Companies House remain the same and the change in status has no effect on customers or suppliers.
JPY at CABSAT
We attended our first trade show in the UAE region last month, joining Archiware at the CABSAT show in Dubai.
We made many new contacts, both customers and resellers and look forward to working closely with them in the near future, spreading the word about the importance of Archiving in the video and broadcast industries.
UB64 Spotlight search
The HELIOS Index Server is a powerful Spotlight compatible file indexing and search system. Mac, Windows, web, and iPad/iPhone users can quickly find server files by searching for text content and metadata. Spotlight searching has received significant new capabilities in UB64.
Standard PDF full-text extraction is now included as a standard feature. The PDF HandShake option adds faster indexing performance and more precise text extraction.
