Welcome to a quick update from JPY on what's happening around Archiware products in the coming weeks.
Heading to Amsterdam for IBC with P5 Version 5.6
David Fox will be joining Archiware for this year's IBC show. We'll be in Hall 7, stand 7.D35 to greet customers, partners and friends and show you what's new in P5.
Archiware's partner list has grown to 31 this year, new partners in 2018 are NAS vendor QNAP and cold storage manufacturer FAST LTA who will be demoing on the stand.

This autumn, Archiware will release version 5.6 of the P5 Software suite, including some exciting new features for all modules:
P5 Synchronize - Throughput boosting with parallel file transfers
P5 Synchronize - More flexibility due to a new deletion mode
P5 Archive - LTFS support for import and export of data
P5 Archive - Support for Backblaze Fireball, Amazon Snowball and Microsoft Azure import/export services to import large datasets
P5 Backup/P5 Archive - Backblaze B2, Microsoft Azure, Hitachi S3 and Wasabi S3 support

P5 Desktop Edition - Backup and Archive for everyone
With the release of version 5.6, Archiware is introducing the new P5 Desktop Edition, an essential license bundle including P5 Archive and P5 Backup to a single LTO tape drive. No further expansions are possible with this license, to differentiate it from our regular expandable licenses.
The P5 Desktop Edition is intended to make P5’s high-end data security and broad feature set affordable for single users and small groups at a price point of just £1,000.
